SWISS COTTAGE MODEL BOAT CLUB
Welcome to the Swiss Cottage Model website.
We are a group of people aged from 1 to 100 years young who enjoy sharing our knowledge of model boats and sailing them on the lake that is situated behind the Swiss Cottage Public House in the centre of Shoreham town. The lake is full of wildlife which makes it a relaxing environment to sit and talk amongst the club members while you watch others sail. We are fortunate to have the use of plenty of pic-nic tables where you can position your boats when you are not sailing. In the warmer weather we erect a gazebo to provide shade for the spectators.
We are a friendly, approachable, sociable group and welcome everyone, along with having the facilities for wheelchair users. We hold regular meetings and organise club trips to various exhibitions, other model sailing clubs, along with non-related activities also.
Parking is available on the street and when you join as a member of the club you receive a parking permit for the pub car park so that parking is free. Please select the Apply button above to enquire about joining or the Contact Us button to ask any further questions.

The Club Waters are in the rear of the Swiss Cottage Public House Shoreham by Sea BN43 5TD.
We are a small and friendly group who sail our boats on the small lake at Swiss Cottage. We meet every Thursday 10:30am – 3:00pm and some weekends. If the weather is bad we will meet in the pub for a drink and a chat.
